SVC’s volunteering opportunities are available to all students at Cardiff University, whether you are from the UK or overseas.
International Students wishing to apply to volunteer with SVC can do so in the same way as UK students, by completing an Application Form and CRB check with us.
Unfortunately CRB checks only cover the UK, so unless you have been resident in the UK for 5 years or more, we’ll also need a criminal record check from your home country to account for the periods of time not covered by a UK CRB check.
Checks from overseas can sometimes be referred to by a variety of names such as a Police Check or aGood Behaviour Record. To find out what it is called in your home country and how to apply for one, please visit the CRB website at www.crb.gov.uk
