***APPLICATIONS CLOSED FOR 2011/2012***
Do you enjoy sport? Would you have the energy and time to help people with disabilities? If you do you could get involved with a sports and leisure project. You could help other people learn a new skill and encourage disabled people to develop and achieve their full potential.
This is a partnership project between SVC, Cardiff County Council and SportTrain. The project aims to provide the opportunity for students and people with learning difficulties to participate in a multitude of enjoyable and appropriate sports. This is an integrated opportunity, which aims to make sports such as, basketball, football and boccia, more accessible. You are not expected to teach or coach the participants but to help them in their sporting activity. So if you’re sporty why not give a little of your own time to help other enjoy sport.
