Headway Cardiff works with people with acquired brain injuries, their families and carers, providing support and services to over 300 people every year. Headway aims to increase awareness and understanding of brain injury and its consequences, along with providing the necessary support to those with brain injury and their families, to help them attain the highest possible quality of life.
Headway are looking for volunteers for their Day Centre for people who have suffered an acquired brain injury. Volunteers will assist clients to participate in the Day Centre activities including facilitating quizzes, art and swimming. Confidence, maturity and reliability are essential. Patience, listening skills, good communication and a sense of humour are all vital!
