Empowering people through art.
Expressions teaches basic digital photography to people with mental health problems and other excluded groups in order to improve their computer skills and their confidence, with a view to getting them closer to the active labour market.
The courses take place over four sessions of approximately four hours each, delivered over successive weeks. At the end of the course the trainees will be able to take home a portfolio of the work that they have produced and they will receive an accredited certificate from the Open College Network. We are looking for volunteers to help us deliver the courses in day centres and drop in centres across Cardiff. No previous experience of photography is needed and we supply all the necessary equipment.
