***APPLICATIONS CLOSED FOR 2011/2012***
This year, the Cathays High project has undergone some exciting new developments. Rather than participating in a reading club, students will now have the opportunity to act as a classroom assistant in the core subjects of English and Maths. There is also scope to help out in other subject lessons. Volunteers have the option of attending either a weekly 1-2pm session, a 2-3pm session, or volunteering for the whole two hours. Just like last year, the project will run on a Wednesday afternoon and volunteers will walk up to the school. The project offers valuable classroom experience perfect for any student hoping to do a secondary PGCE.
